About Us
Equipped is a project of Contain, Inc, a fintech startup that is a long-time participant in the indoor farming industry. Contain works with indoor farmers to help them find leases for their grows. It works with 70+ equipment vendors and a pool of 30+ lenders.
Contain’s team created Equipped in response to requests from equipment vendors and farmers for a place to trade pre-owned farm equipment. Our platform allows sellers to list their pre-owned or seconds equipment with the help of our AI and predictive pricing tools. Sellers can set their own prices, and accept or reject offers from buyers. Buyers have the option of “buying now” or making an offer for a listing.
