About the Equipment
The Pelton & Crane Q10 steam autoclave is an excellent solution for any of your lab’s sterilization needs. This unit is the AF (10”) model, complete with measurement accuracy up to +/- 8 kPa. Two LCD displays and an easy-to-use menu allows your lab to take full advantage of the unit’s five sterilization modes. Note that the last mode is fully programmable between 101C-135C for up to 90 minutes. Not only does this unit feature closed-door drying and overheat protection, it also includes numerous safety features – including two safety valves, a door lock, and electrical interruption protection.
The chamber itself has a 9 ⅞” diameter and 17 7/16” of useable depth.

How We Used the Equipment
Our R&D lab used this unit for soil sterilization, however, among its various other applications, this same autoclave can effectively be used to sterilize lab equipment.
Site Prep
To safely run this unit, we recommend that the buyer’s lab has an appropriate power source and level operating surface. Additionally, we’d recommend at least 2 people for transport, as the unit is both heavy and awkwardly shaped.
