About the Equipment
The RADIX vertical farming grow module is a fully-integrated system that comes equipped with built-in patented Sananbio VegMax LED lights, is a hybrid NFT & DWC system with integrated gravity-driven water circulation, and can be converted between constant flow and Ebb & Flow. Each item consists of one 6-layer grow system. It can either be used individually or combined with others of the same model to make taller stacks. The full spec is here.
How We Used the Equipment
We’ve been using it to grow leafy greens and herbs commercially, but you could also use it for microgreens. The full crop list is shown here. The racks have been used for approximately two years in clean room conditions.
Site Prep
The Radix system can be easily snapped together by two people working together. You will need a professional plumber and electrician to connect the utilities. The utilities are housed in the system’s legs so you will only need one connection per rack.
